Why Nieves Benedicto Keeps Coming Back

Nieves Benedicto has been coming to Gracelight’s Echo Park clinic for about three to four years now. She first came in for dental care after hearing good things from people she trusted, and since then, she’s never looked elsewhere.

A longtime resident of Los Angeles, Nieves was looking for a place that felt comfortable, easy to get to, and welcoming. She found all of that at Gracelight.

“My experience has been good. Nothing bad at all,” she said. “The dental staff takes their time, they’re careful, and they always listen to what I have to say. I feel comfortable speaking with them.”

For Nieves, feeling heard is a big part of what makes the care at Gracelight different. It’s not just about the services—it’s the way the staff treats you. “The employees are approachable. You can talk to them, ask questions, and they explain things without making you feel rushed or awkward.”

That’s why she’s already referred several people to Gracelight, including friends and others in her Filipino community. She tells them what she values most: it’s close to home, the staff is kind, and the clinic is always clean and organized. “It doesn’t take a lot of effort to come here, which I appreciate.”

Right now, Nieves is getting ready to head back to the Philippines to visit family. She’s looking forward to spending time with her three daughters, but says when she returns, she’ll continue recommending Gracelight to people in her neighborhood.

“It’s a good place,” she said. “People are kind, and I always feel taken care of.”

For Nieves, Gracelight feels like more than a clinic. It’s a place where the care feels easy, the staff feels familiar, and you know you’re in good hands.
