Randy Reyes: A New Kind of Healthcare Experience

For Randy Reyes, a visit to the doctor wasn’t exactly on his radar—until a nagging issue with his pinky finger finally pushed him to get it checked out. What he didn’t expect was how he’d end up at Gracelight in the first place. A lifelong resident of Los Angeles, Randy stopped by the Westlake North clinic for help with the deformity in his finger. After being seen, he left with something even more valuable—a referral to an orthopedic specialist to get the surgery he needed. But it wasn’t just the referral that stuck with him. It was the energy of the place.

“You all are really cool people,” he said with a smile. “I actually enjoy coming in now.”

For Randy, stepping into the clinic felt different. No stress. No cold reception. Just a space that felt warm and welcoming—something he hadn’t experienced at a doctor’s office in a long time.

“There’s no bad energy here,” he said. “I don’t feel like I’m just another number.”

He’s especially thankful to Dr. Pham and the staff who made him feel comfortable and cared for. So much so, he’s already planning to recommend Gracelight to his family and hopes others can have the same kind of experience.

“I want my family to come here too,” he said. “Dr. Pham could be their doctor. You’re making a difference.”

For Randy, a simple referral turned into a reminder that healthcare doesn’t have to feel distant or cold—it can feel like home.
