About six years ago, Kelly Garcia Vasquez was walking by the clinic back when Gracelight Community Health was QueensCare. She was 20 years old at the time, single, and curious about Medi-Cal eligibility, so she decided to stop and ask a few questions. That moment changed everything—she found a place that would grow with her and her family.
Now, at 26 years old and a mother of two, the clinic has been by her side through every stage. She brings her children here for their physicals, and they feel at ease coming in for care. For herself, she counts on the clinic for check-ups, labs, and even optometry. What she loves most is how easy it is to get help when she needs it: “If one clinic doesn’t have appointments, I just call, and they always find me a same-day spot at another location.”
She remembers her pregnancy well. Sandra and Dr. Lee were there for her, offering support and kindness that made a huge difference. That experience gave her confidence and showed her this was more than just a clinic—it was a team that truly cared.
For Kelly, the clinic isn’t just a place to get medical care. It’s a place where she and her kids feel seen, cared for, and comfortable. And that’s why she’s stayed all these years.
