Florida Salmingo’s visits to Gracelight Community Health always start with a smile. “Every time I come in, there are so many staff who recognize me,” she said. “It’s nice to walk into a clinic and see familiar faces. It brings me joy knowing that the team always greets me kindly.”
She said her experience with Dr. Debnath has made a big difference in her health. “He listens to me and I can tell he likes to help,” she said. “He’s compassionate, pleasant, and motivates me to keep taking care of myself.”
When she comes in for lab results, Florida said Dr. Debnath takes time to go over everything in detail. “He explains my progress and makes sure all my questions are answered before I leave,” she said. “That’s what I appreciate most about this care team.”
Florida described the staff at the Hollywood Health Center as friendly and welcoming. “Every single staff member I interact with is nice,” she said. “They always make the clinic feel like a comfortable place to be.”
Since moving to Los Angeles in 2022, Florida has relied on Gracelight for her care and support. She said the Health Advocates helped her apply for insurance when she didn’t have coverage. “That was a huge help for me,” she said. “Now I can get the care I need without worrying about paying out of pocket.
