Adriana Sayavedra: Building Community Through Care and Faith

Adriana Sayavedra, 47, has been part of the Gracelight family for over a decade. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she first came to Gracelight after her mother, a longtime patient at the Hollywood clinic, encouraged her to check it out.

Now living in the Boyle Heights—Little Tokyo area, Adriana is a single mom raising two children on her own. She’s also working on starting her own financial services business through the World Financial Group, with a focus on helping her community build financial literacy and long-term stability.

After speaking with Adriana, it becomes clear that her work is rooted in something even deeper. She is a spiritual woman with a strong faith, and she believes in following her calling. For her, that means connecting with others and serving the community around her. She currently receives dental care at the East 3rd Street clinic and says her experience has always been positive. “The dentists are professional, accommodating, clean, and always on time,” she shared. If appointments aren’t available at East 3rd, the team helps her find care at other locations so she can stay on track with her dental health.

What keeps her coming back, she says, is the kindness she feels every time she visits.

“Everyone is so nice—from the front desk ladies to the security guards to the staff. They make you feel welcomed.”

When asked to describe Gracelight in one word, Adriana chose community. As someone who values building strong relationships and uplifting others, she sees Gracelight as more than just a clinic. It’s a place where she feels supported, and where her values feel right at home.
