Starla Baldwin is the Director of Human Resources at Gracelight Community Health, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience across healthcare, community health, and corporate sectors. She has directed HR operations for organizations including ProHealth Partners, Crenshaw Community Clinic, New Directions for Veterans, Atlanta Public Schools, and Home Depot. Her expertise spans workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, leadership development, compliance, benefits administration, and organizational development. Starla has led HR teams supporting more than 1,200 employees, developed strategies that reduced turnover and workers’ compensation claims, and successfully guided organizations through audits, accreditations, and expansions.
She holds an MBA and a BA in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix, along with certifications in Incident Command System (ICS) training, CPR/ACLS, and a California Notary License. Starla is recognized as a champion for HR excellence and is passionate about building strong, inclusive teams that align with Gracelight’s mission of delivering accessible and equitable healthcare.
