John Ramirez

Director of Facilities

John Ramirez serves as the Director of Facilities at Gracelight Community Health, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare facilities management, construction, and support services. He has held senior leadership roles with Discovery Health Group, Dignity Health, Sutter Health, Citrus Valley Health Partners, and Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, where he oversaw multi-campus hospital operations, large-scale modernization projects, and mission-critical infrastructure. Throughout his career, John has managed multimillion-dollar budgets, directed construction of major patient care towers, and led facility modernization initiatives that improved safety, efficiency, and patient experience. He has successfully guided hospitals and health systems through Joint Commission accreditation, OSHPD compliance, and state inspections, consistently achieving top marks.

John earned his MBA from La Jolla University and a BA in Business Administration from Universidad Michoacán in Mexico. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and an active member of the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives, California Society for Hospital Engineers, and the American Association for Healthcare Engineers. His expertise and commitment to operational excellence strengthen Gracelight’s mission of providing high-quality, accessible care to the Los Angeles community.
