Cynthia J. Borders serves as the Director of Financial Services at Gracelight Community Health, bringing over 20 years of extensive experience in healthcare billing and coding. With a distinguished career dedicated to maximizing reimbursement, reducing denials, and enhancing overall revenue cycle performance, Cynthia has been an integral part of Gracelight for the past 11 years.

In her role, Cynthia has successfully implemented numerous strategic initiatives that have significantly improved billing and financial strategies, resulting in substantial revenue growth and improved profit margins. Her expertise and leadership have earned Gracelight recognition as a premier performer, consistently placing in the top ten percent for FY23-24. Cynthia has also been acknowledged by the EPIC/OCHIN Revenue Cycle Scorecard for outstanding revenue cycle performance, frequently providing counseling to other OCHIN members upon request.

Cynthia’s professional affiliations include the Healthcare Business Management Association (HBMA) and the American Management Association (AMA). Beyond her professional achievements, Cynthia is known for her personal passions. Her favorite getaway is Carmel By the Sea, cherished for its stunning white-sand beach. As a devoted grandmother, Cynthia treasures the time spent with her three beloved grandkids.
